Counselling is to help Clients achieve their personal goals and gain greater insight into their lives. Counselling is not a process where the Counsellor tells the Client what he or she should do or decides choices for the Client to make. It is a one-on-one professional relationship between a Client and a Counsellor, that takes place in a safe, caring, and confidential environment and which allows the Client to speak openly about what is bothering them and what they want to achieve from the sessions to help improve the Client’s life.
Can provide a neutral ground to help couples agree upon and work through tough issues with support. Couples can decide to rebuild their personal relationships/marriage and make a renewed commitment or clarify the reasons why they need to separate or end the relationship. Couple’s Counselling is also about the work that happens in between the sessions. You'll have tasks/homework to complete between each session. It's important that you take your sessions seriously and complete these tasks if you want the Counselling to work.
Will focus on helping families examine ways to resolve problems and express thoughts and feelings in a productive manner. The sessions will help you explore roles, rules and behaviour patterns that contribute to family conflict and find ways to work through these issues. The goal of family Counselling is to also help family members improve communication skills, understand and handle family situations which in turn supports a better functioning home environment.
If you are unable to attend a face to face appointment you can choose one of these options. When booking please choose the most suitable option. If you are not sure which option to book please use the contact page to get in touch so we can assist you.
